Film Services
E6 Slide Developing
Denver Digital Imaging Center offers professional E6 slide film developing and processing — one of an increasingly rare number of labs still providing this essential service for transparency film photographers.
E6 processing is the standard development process for color transparency (slide) film, including popular stocks like Fuji Velvia, Provia, and Ektachrome. Our lab has been processing E6 film since the 1970s, when The Slideprinter first opened its doors as a dedicated slide processing facility.
Our dip and dunk processing method ensures consistent, even development across the entire roll. Unlike machine-fed processors, dip and dunk processing treats each roll with individual care, minimizing the risk of scratches, cinch marks, or uneven development.
With over 50 years of E6 processing experience, our technicians understand the nuances of transparency film — from proper temperature control to precise timing that ensures accurate color reproduction and optimal density.
We also offer film scanning and proof printing at the time of processing, so you can review your results quickly and efficiently.
